We undertook this survey to assess the state of compliance in Nigeria’s Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) following the Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) reforms of the Banking sector between 2007 and 2009. READERS may recall, Nigeria’s banking sector, similar to the banking sectors of the European Union and the USA, was seriously affected by the 2008 Global Financial Crisis (2008 GFC).
